Area Rugs
- General Cleaning and Maintenance
We clean a wide range of area rugs, including oriental and fine wool, synthetic, berber style and woven reversible, plus many more. We have operated a full-service cleaning plant in Red Deer for many years in order to properly care for specialized textiles like area rugs. So, you will rarely see us clean an area rug in your home. Most of the time, we will recommend that it come to our plant, whether you bring it to us, or we come and get it.
Sometimes an area rug requires more than general cleaning, and we can do that, too. Our specialized cleaning ranges from whitening tassels to treating pet urine deposits, minor to major.

Floor Tile & Grout Lines
- General cleaning and maintenance
Our hard surface cleaning tools (supplemented with some good old-fashioned elbow grease) are excellent for cleaning even heavily soiled grout lines and the tiles that go along with them on the floor in your entrance, hallway, bathroom or kitchen.
- Consultation on stain protection
We always recommend that a grout sealant be applied 24 hours after the grout lines are cleaned. We can provide you with the name of the product and tell you how to apply it yourself, or we can provide the product and the labour ourselves, if you wish.

Upholstered Furnishings

We can clean (and thereby extend the life of) your whole range of upholstered furniture, from your favorite recliner chair to your custom made sectional sofa.
- On-site cleaning where appropriate
Because we have a cleaning plant, we can clean furniture on-site or off-site, whichever is the most appropriate to the furnishings themselves, your location, and your schedule.
- Application of fibre protectant where appropriate to protect your investment
We carry top-of-the-line fibre protectant products (sometimes called “scotchguard”), and are skilled in matching the right fibre protectant to the right fabric. You might be surprised to know that some fabric doesn't benefit significantly from having fibre protectant applied. If this is the case for your fabric, you can count on us to tell you, so you don’t waste your money on it. In other cases, a fibre protectant can make a significant difference. In this case we will explain the benefits to you, and, if you decide to have it applied, we will conduct a proper application in our cleaning plant. This means we will apply it using hand sprayers in 2 coats, with a minimum 24-hour curing time between coats, for the best and most professional results.

Leather Furnishings
- General maintenance (cleaning & conditioning)
You might think that your leather furniture doesn’t require much maintenance, but we can assure you, it does! When smooth leather furniture comes from the factory, it has a very thin coating that protects it for some time against our skin oils, perspiration, UV light and general soiling. But after a time that coating wears off, and then, if the leather isn’t regularly protected through cleaning and conditioning, it will absorb whatever makes contact with it, and will be very reluctant to release it again, sometimes resulting in permanent damage.
We know how to maintain your analine (smooth) and suede leather furniture. We can even provide specialized restoration cleaning for soiling such as hair oil deposits.

Our cleaning plant is constructed so that we can clean almost any style of window blind, including Luminette and Silhouette styles. If you aren’t sure what type of blinds you have, you can drop one off at our plant for assessment and pricing.

Our owner and manager, Paolo Mancuso will visit your business, examine your carpet, and give you a quote on cleaning. He can also advise on general carpet care for your particular carpet type and installation. And because we understand how to efficiently dry carpets in an installation, we can ensure your carpets are dry before the start of your business day.
- Sufficient in-house staff and equipment for large jobs
Our staff of master and journeyed cleaners, with a full fleet of truck-mounted carpet cleaning equipment, means we can accommodate even large commercial jobs within a reasonable time frame, and still maintain our high standard of quality. And in circumstances where truckmounts are not applicable, we carry a series of high-performance electric portable equipment.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY
- What is Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)?
It's a term referring to air quality within homes and buildings as it relates to the health of occupants. It's affected by things like microbial contaminants (mould, bacteria), micro-particulates of soils (household dust) and other organic pollutants such as pet dander, tobacco smoke and dust mite feces.
- Mould consultation and referral
If you suspect that you might have mould in your home or business, either because of what you see or what you smell, we can help. Our owner and manager, Paolo Mancuso, has extensive training and experience in locating, identifying and treating mould on your textiles or hard surfaces. And, if air testing is required to diagnose the level of contamination, he can refer you to local professionals to see the job to completion.
- High humidity and “wet basement” readings
Sometimes, your basement might have no visible signs of mould, but has a wet or musty smell that worries you. With specialized instruments, we can check various flooring and walls, including using our infrared camera if needed, to locate any water intrusion, such as groundwater seepage, a leaky pipe inside a wall, a leaky roof, or a bathroom with wet walls in the shower stall.
- Furnace “cleaning” education and consulting
Many homeowners get their furnace cleaned annually, believing they are improving the quality of the air in their home this way. But, are they really? As early as1994, The Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation research division examined the efficacy of residential duct cleaning, and found that there were no significant improvements in things like house airborne dust after duct cleaning than before. (In the USA the Environmental Protection Agency did a more comprehensive study and came to similar conclusions.)
We offer inspection and consulting services to determine how “dirty” your ducts actually are, often times resulting in savings of hundreds of dollars a year in costly furnace and duct “cleaning” services.

Sometimes people believe that when flood water gets into their carpet, all that’s needed is for the carpet to be cleaned, thinking that the flood water will be pulled up by the carpet cleaning wand. While in some cases this can be true, most of the time a carpet has an underpad beneath it that acts like a big sponge, holding onto the water and necessitating a more thorough approach to ensure drying.
Our owner and manager, Paolo Mancuso, has extensive training and experience in helping you should you have a flood in your home or business. Not only can we extract the water from your wet carpet, we can also dry the carpet and the floor beneath it, instrument check the wet walls that might surround it, and treat all the surfaces for bacterial or fungus contamination, if needed. And, if the water that came into your home or business was heavily contaminated, we can remove the affected carpet and underpad, and disinfect the various surfaces for you.
Because moulds love moist environments, it’s important to dry the various parts of the room, such as the carpet, the subfloor or cement floor, and even the walls, to protect your health. Carpets and underpad contain mould inhibitors, which protects them for a short while from mould growth, but the drywall and baseboard that might be alongside the carpet have no such inhibitors, and also just happen to provide a good food source for moulds. That’s why we encourage anyone who has had water get into their home or business to carefully and professionally examine all the possible surfaces that might have been affected, and ensure all of them are properly attended to.
